Here's a little history: "Do Your Best" was picked as the theme song for Japan's Olympic team for the 1980 Games in Moscow, but was never used for that purpose after Japan joined the U.S. led boycott of 57 countries that never went to Russia in protest of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan.
